These works aim to mark society in the information age and are concerned with a post-contemporary aesthetic in the form of hyperreal vessels.

The artefacts aim to challenge perceptions of the digital medium and further the dialogue of handmade versus machine in the creation of craft.

This combination of digital and analogue, alongside the re-mastering of archetypal vessel forms, results in one part pastiche and another part parody by using high technology to make ‘lo-tech’ forms.
